Is Jack Griffo gay? All we know

Jack Griffo is best known for playing Max Thunderman in The Thundermans. Griffo also starred in Nickelodeon’s Splitting Adam and Jinxed. After his run in The Thundermans ended, Griffo joined the cast of Alexa & Katie, playing Dylan in three seasons of the Netflix series. 

Fan interest in Jack Griffo reignited after Nickelodeon announced The Thundermans Return, a feature-length film based on the original series. “This movie is made for the audiences who fell in love with the show’s original run on Nick and also for today’s generation discovering it on streaming,” Nickelodeon’s Zack Olin said. 

Jack Griffo is not gay. Griffo’s fashion choices have prompted some fans to spread an unsubstantiated rumor that he is gay; his love for makeup has no bearing on his sexuality. 

Griffo’s Instagram photo of himself wearing a wedding dress alongside Brian Stepanek sparked gay rumors. “That time I married Brian Stepanek,” Griffin captioned the post, spreading the false reports. 

Griffo and Stepanek likely took the photo as a joke while collaborating on a project. Also, Stepanek is happily married to his wife of over two decades, Parisa. 

The Alexa & Katie star has publicly only dated women. Ryan dated The Thundermans co-star Ryan Newman for three years before dating actress Paris Berelc. Griffo is currently single. 

He was linked with Kira Kosarin, his character’s twin sister in The Thundermans, but the pair denied being in a relationship. Kira said in 2016:

“We’ve been spending a lot of time together because we’re back at work and we’ve been posting pictures because we’re always together and we’re both social media obsessed teenagers. Everyone’s been commenting ‘Jira,’ as a ship name, and we just think it’s the funniest thing ever because we couldn’t be more like brother and sister.”
