Morgan Romano’s parents: All about her family

Morgan Romano was meant to be Miss USA. In October 2022, Romano narrowly missed out on the Miss USA title, losing to R’Bonney Gabriel. After Gabriel won the Miss Universe crown, she had to relinquish her Miss USA title to the 1st runner-up, Morgan Romano.

Romano almost won the Miss Carolina 2021 pageant, placing 2nd runner-up. Morgan won the following year, allowing her to compete for national pageantry honors. The engineering graduate from the University of California placed second in a controversial Miss USA pageant marred by allegations of rigging.

Morgan Romano’s father is a retired dirt racing Hall of Famer

Morgan Romano was raised alongside his younger brother, Adam, by parents Debbie and A.J. Romano.

A.J. Romano is a dirt racing legend whose career spanned over two decades. According to A.J.’s Facebook page, he retired in September 2015 after completing a 100-lap Super DIRTcar Series race at the Fonda Speedway. “Thank you to the fans!” A.J. wrote.

The family patriarch was inducted into the hall of fame in July 2022. Morgan posted throwback photos of her father on Instagram, writing that she worried so much for her father’s safety that she cried every time he strapped in for a race. “I’m so beyond happy that that part is over with,” Morgan wrote. She added:

“Today your name was cemented in history. Ever since I was a little girl, I have sat and admired as you made so many sacrifices for your family and your career. You work harder than anyone I have ever met and you have given your life to your passions and the people that you love.”

Debbie Romano’s Facebook page states that she works for Internet Service Provider Go Kinetic. She mostly uploads photos of her family and updates about Morgan’s career.
