Everything about Micah Hyde’s wife Amanda Hyde: The couple shares two children
Micah Hyde’s wait for a Super Bowl ring continues into the tenth season following the Buffalo Bills’ crushing overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills were ahead 13 seconds before the end, but they somehow lost the game. Bills fans were devastated by the loss, but Micah’s wife, Amanda, opted to focus on the season’s positives.
“What a team. What a season!!” Amanda wrote on Instagram. “If this is what year 9 looked like, my God, I cannot wait to see what year 10 has in store for us!! Get excited.”
Micah Hyde and his wife Amanda share two children
Micah married Amanda Kamiksisian on 7th July 2018 at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel.
The couple welcomed their first child, Micah, Jr., in March 2020. They welcomed their second child, Maverick Hudson Hyde, in August 2021.
“How can life get any sweeter than this? She’s here,” Amanda wrote on Instagram following Hudson’s birth. Amanda also announced that she wants two more children with Micah.
She also praised Micah’s support as a husband and father: “You [Micah] are everything to us, and the most comforting feeling of all is not only knowing that our babies get to have your as their Dada, but knowing they’ll be able to see and feel how fiercely you love each and every single one of us.”
Following the end of the Bills season, Kamiksisian praised Micah for his ability to keep playing at the highest level while keeping his family first. “You switch to dad mode without skipping a beat – not because you have to but because you want to,” Amanda wrote.
Amanda expressed her pride at Micah’s achievements through a season when he had no days off. “I’m proud of you will always be an understatement,” she writes.
Bills fans are disappointed with how the season ended, but Micah Hyde views the season and Micah’s output as a success. She’s looking forward to spending more time with her husband before the new season commences.
“So, Buffalo, while you mean the world to us, I’m going to go ahead and steal my husband back for a bit,” she concluded.
Hyde and Amanda had a dream proposal and wedding
Micah and Amanda met in San Diego, where Micah spent the off-season. The two started dating before Hyde told her that he was an NFL player.
Amanda found out that Micah played for the Green Bay Packers via her friends, but she still didn’t believe it. She accepted reality when Hyde had to leave for the season.
The couple approached the prospect of a long-distance relationship with optimism. “He promised me that we would never feel the weight of the distance and we never did,” Amanda said on Better Half of the Bills. “I saw him almost every single week and it worked out.”
Micah planned a dream proposal for Amanda featuring their close friends and family. Hyde popped the question as soon as the couple boarded a boat filled with their loved ones. “It was so perfect,” Amanda said.
Amanda described the couple’s July 2018 wedding as a fairy tale. The couple had a typical wedding ceremony and a second one that celebrated Amanda’s Arab roots. She said:
“We did another one a few hours later where it just all Arab music and all the guys got dressed up and the girls had jewels on their heads. I will never forget taking a few steps back and looking around and seeing everybody dancing. It was so amazing.”
Micah’s move to the Buffalo Bills benefited the couple as it brought them closer to their families. Now every game day is a family affair.
Amanda and Micah are into their fourth year of marriage and are still going strong. On their third anniversary, Amanda posted a photo of the wedding alongside the following caption:
“3 years later and I swear I still ask myself how I got so lucky. To my whole world, to the person who makes me laugh the hardest, happy anniversary! Life with you is a dream. Always will be. I love you the most.”
